Summary

Both ideations that I have come up in this phase has been through conducting research online and reflecting on personal experiences. For my wrapgers (Mieats) idea, I thought of what if I changed the usual shape of wraps into a burger sphere-like shape instead while still maintaining the fundamentals of a wrap. For my wrapdles (Noodle Trouble) idea, I was eating instant ramen one day (Shin Ramyun) and thought why not we combine it together with wraps, thus came the idea. This idea enables possible collaborations with instant noodles brands all around the world. I also put in elements of our smartphone brand (XiaoMi) and fast food into my ideas accordingly.

Personal Reflection

I personally think that this was the most important and challenging phase of the entirety of the assignment so far as it was the phase where ideas and concepts are generated to create a brand new product. I had to also keep in mind that the idea proposed should be brand new or at least unseen in Malaysia. Because of this, my first idea was rejected as it was an idea or concept that already existed (customization of wraps) in Malaysia, so further brainstorming was needed. I spent a week trying to come up with ideas, and luckily I was able to make it in time before the due date. My teammates were also very innovative and creative and we combined our ideas together to form our current fast food restaurant- Eat Mi. Overall, it was a challenging phase of the assignment.
